Henley Hockey Club is one of the main Oxfordshire clubs providing regular coaching, training and matches for boys and girls aged from 4 to 16 years old. Coaching and training for these players is organised and carried out by qualified hockey coaches working with other club members and parents to help develop our future club and representative players.

In recent years we have produced a number of high quality youth players (both boys and girls), a number of whom have gone on to play at County, Regional and at National levels.

Training for 2024-2025
First session: Sunday 8 September 2024
Autumn Half Term: Sunday 27 October 2024 (NO training)
Christmas Break: Sunday 22 and 29 December 2024 (NO training)
Training resumes: Sunday 5 January 2025
Spring Half Term: Sunday 16 February 2025 (NO training)
Last session and end of season awards: Sunday 30 March 2025

Training will take place as follows:

• U6 Mixed (Years Reception & 1): 9.00am - 9.45am
• U8 Mixed (Years 2 & 3): 9.00am - 10.00am
• U10 Girls (Years 4 & 5): 10.00am - 11.30am
• U12 Girls (Years 6 & 7): 11.30am - 1.00pm
• U10 and U12 Boys (Years 4 to 7): 1.00pm - 2.30pm
• U14 Girls (Years 8 & 9): 2.30pm - 4.00pm
• U16 Girls (Years 10-11): 4.00pm - 5.30pm
• U14 and U16 Boys (Years 8-10): 4.00pm - 5.30pm
• U18 (Years 12 & 13): 4.00pm - 5.30pm

All players, once they turn 13 years of age, are eligible to attend the senior club training sessions and will be invited to do so on an individual basis.

Please note there is NO U6 training on the following dates due to fixture weekends:
